CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-known and long-established Leisure & Tourism Attractions, we are seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant to join their growing team based in Ayia Napa. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the CEO. You should hold previous, demonstrable experience within a similar role and possess outstanding organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information on a regular basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential and knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- To take care of documentation, including letters, faxes and reports, etc. as specified by the CEO as well as taking dictation and minutes.
- Handle telephone calls, enquiries, and requests.
- Record any messages during the CEO's absence and to bring them to his notice as soon as possible.
- Communicate to the team via e-mail, telephone, text and memo, items and matters as per CEO’s instructions.
- Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other staff.
- Support the sales of advertising space, merchandise, and music.
- Carry out background research and present findings to the CEO for ongoing projects.
- Research where necessary appropriate matters and items requested by CEO or General Manager.
- Be active across all social networks and to support all content published by the label/group, including sharing, liking, commenting and interactive responses, continuously.
- Organise travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Attend and support events and functions outside of working hours as required.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A diploma related to Business Administration or Secretarial Studies is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a relevant Secretarial role is essential.
- Computer proficient with a knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.
- Discretion and trustworthiness (you will often be party to confidential information).
- Flexibility and adaptability with working hours as required to attend work events.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- The ability to be proactive and take the initiative.
- Tact and diplomacy.
- Must be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent English is required, and knowledge of Greek is desirable.
