CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading Ship Management company with offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Software Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. Working as part of an established Software Development Team, the successful applicant will produce clean, efficient code based on specifications, helping to develop new software applications as well as debugging and upgrading existing software systems. You should hold an academic background in Computer Science or a related field and be familiar with core technologies including C#.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET & SQL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assisting the development team with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Learning the codebase and improving coding skills.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Responding to requests to the development team.
• Recommend and execute improvements.
• Writing reports.
• Conducting development tests.
• Troubleshooting/helping users with internal ERP system.
• Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in software development is a must.
• Knowledge of coding languages including VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#.NET & SQL.
• Knowledge of database design with SQL Server.
• Mobile application development will be an advantage.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems & Accounting systems will be an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
• Proactive with independent working skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
