CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding international Investment Firm, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Dealer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will work as part of a growing trading team and will handle tasks including performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance and optimize system parameters, as well as monitoring and analysing client’s trading activities and exposures. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, or any other relevant field and previous experience in a trading, risk management or data analysis related role in a financial institution is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, as well as the willingness and ability to work to rotational shift-patterns (08:00-16:00 and/or 16:00-24:00).

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance and optimizing system parameters.
• Liaison with technical team on the maintenance and enhancement of trading and monitoring systems.
• Following the company’s operational procedures and internal controls in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and analysing client’s trading activities and exposures.
• Providing internal support to the client facing team on trading related inquiries.
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders.
• Keeping up to date with financial markets information and conducting market research.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University/College degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, or any other relevant field.
• Experience in a trading, risk management or data analysis related role in a financial institution is considered as an advantage.
• Advanced CySEC certification is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of capital markets.
• Understanding of best execution policies and procedures according to MiFID II is a must.
• Knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements and process.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are must.
• Proficient in MS Excel; BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or any other; SQL or Python skill is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work shifts on rotation (08:00-16:00 and/or 16:00-24:00).
