Paid Internship – Investigative Research Assistant – Potential for Full-Time Position

GlobalSource is a growing, sector leading, private intelligence company looking for an investigative research assistant to join the team at our European headquarters in Nicosia as a paid intern, with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of the initial three-month period.

The company provides result-driven bespoke geopolitical and political analysis and monitoring, litigation support, asset searches, due diligence, background checks, competitive intelligence, and risk analysis. Our team is made up of highly experienced and dedicated international professional investigators, analysts, and consultants.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, performance-driven individual with a willingness to commit to contributing to diverse research projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct research as directed on a number of topics, ranging from geopolitical subjects to due diligence.
• Learn to use and build on already established digital investigation and intelligence tools.
• Analyze and synthesize the information from a range of sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master’s degree, preferably in international studies/politics, journalism, business, economics, or law.
• Excellent research and writing skills in both Greek and English.
• Excellent organizational skills and to be a team player.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Resourceful and creative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web research experience.
• Additional foreign language abilities are an asset.
• Have permission to work in Cyprus.

The Company and Position

• The internship will be paid hourly for a period of three months.
• The position is based in the GlobalSource Nicosia office -working hours are 0900 -1700 Monday-Friday.

• Dependent on performance and workload at the end of the internship – there may be the potential of a full-time position.
