L.F. Investment Limited, operating under the trade name Purple Trading, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our small but ambitious team. Don’t expect a typical office environment, but rather a friendly atmosphere in a villa in Limassol. You will be responsible for keeping the accounting records of the company neat and in order so being precise, systematic, and having an eye for detail is the perfect skill set you will need. You will also closely cooperate with the Head of Finance and Accounting and together you will do various tasks such as reconciliation, audit, and others.

What will your job look like:

• Booking all transactions and entries into the accounting system will be definitely part of your day
• Preparing banks, debtors, and creditors reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Cooperating on the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other forms
• Preparing the financial statements, reports, and other financial information for managers and auditors
• Processing payments via online banking and keeping the petty cash of the company

What skills you should have:

• We are looking for someone who already has minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role in Cyprus
• Previous experience in FX company is not necessary
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Greek languages are a must
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel should be also a part of your skillset
• Working in accounting software will be your daily bread so having some experience will help a lot, even better if you already know Intelisoft
• You will use your strong analytical and interpretative skills on a daily basis
• Attention to detail and drive to deliver tasks on time is also must have
• You will also score more points for a university degree in Accounting or LCCI higher certification
