CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Product Engineering company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an Office Support & Sales Engineer to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing internal administrative support to the company, as well as supporting external customers as required, whilst also actively participating in outbound sales initiatives. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and sales activities, ensuring that customers receive excellent support, as well as solutions tailored to their needs. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Oil & Gas or another relevant field and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English. This is a junior-level position and therefore Graduates or those with limited working experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for executives or team members.
- Overseeing general office operations, such as maintaining office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist in managing the company website, ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Working closely with the sales team to support their efforts in promoting and selling products or services. This might include preparing technical documentation, creating presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting with sales pitches.
- Being present at site visits and engaging with the customer and offering support when needed.
- Assist with creating & maintaining strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions. This may involve responding to inquiries, providing product information, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Create a deep understanding of the products or services your company offers. This includes staying up to date with the latest features, functionalities, and industry trends to effectively communicate and promote the benefits to customers.
- Collaborate with various departments within the company, such as engineering, marketing, and customer service, to gather relevant information and provide feedback. This collaboration ensures a smooth flow of information and enhances the overall customer experience.
- You may be involved in conducting market research to identify potential customers, evaluate competitors, and gather insights to improve sales strategies. This information can be used to target specific market segments and develop effective marketing campaigns.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Mechanical/Civil Engineering Oil and Gas or a related field.
- Knowledge of CAD programmes would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Greek.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Office management and time management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Professional and trustworthy.
