CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a growing Hospitality Group with operations in Paphos, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team. The successful applicant will oversee the entire finance function for the Group, including preparing financial reports in accordance with Company and Group standards, preparing management accounts, as well as leading, supervising and mentoring a team of less experience finance professionals. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another similar field, and holders of any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking applicants who have proven experience in similar financial leadership role, and any previous experience working for Top 4 Audit & Accounting firms will be considered a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential and any knowledge of the Greek language is desirable, but not essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse the data for informed decisions making.
  • Prepare management accounts.
  • Prepare Group’s financial reports in accordance with company and group standards.
  • Conduct Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Taking ownership of cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Management and motivation of accounting team.
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organization’s liabilities.
  • Analyse the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely receivables collection.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance.
  • Prepare Cash flow planning.
  • Reporting to shareholders.
  • Overseeing statutory audit.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications/certifications are desirable.
  • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Manager, Finance Officer or relevant role is a must.
  • Previous Top 4 experience will be considered a plus.
  • Hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent English (Greek is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (advanced user).
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Problem solving.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Clear, effective communication style.
  • Good commercial understanding of the business and market.
