CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a very well-established and reputable Accounting & Audit Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Client Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a diverse portfolio of clients with various accounting and bookkeeping services. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Accounting & Finance and possess a minimum of 2+ years of previous experience as a Client Accountant. Any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications will be considered an advantage, but not essential and fluency in both Greek & English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors with their accounting/bookkeeping requests.
• Accounting of Companies under IFRSs - IR63, IR1, IR59, IR7
• Monthly payroll and social insurance submissions
• Good knowledge of VAT, VIES returns
• Record bookkeeping transactions on behalf of clients.
• Monthly Accounting.
• Prepare and process accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Any relevant accounting qualifications will be considered an advantage (LCCI, CAT, ACCA/ACA).
• 2+ years of relevant experience handling client bookkeeping/accounting is essential.
• Experience of VAT is essential
• Excellent communication skills in Greek & English (Written & Spoken).
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong client service skills.
• Any previous experience with Accounting software will be considered an advantage.
