CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established international technology provider to the iGaming sector, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful applicant will handle a variety of accounting and bookkeeping related tasks, including assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, issuing revenue invoices, preparing revenue reconciliations, as well as dealing with accounts receivables. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field and either a recently qualified member of a recognised accounting body, or currently working towards the qualification. Our client is seeking a candidate with approximately 3+ years of relevant professional experience who must possess previous experience in the Gaming industry. Fluency in verbal and written English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Issuing revenue invoices, preparing revenue reconciliations, and dealing with accounts receivables.
• Preparing PSP reconciliations, Cash in Transit and Player Funds reconciliations.
• Assisting with preparation of any reports and information relevant for decision making.
• Assisting the Finance team with any other related tasks.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is desirable.
• Full member of the recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or working towards the qualification.
• Approximately 3+ years of proven accounting experience is essential.
• Previous experience working in the Gaming industry is essential.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Have advanced MS Excel skills.
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
