Corporate Administration Officer (Nicosia)

The Position: We are looking for an experienced corporate administrator to join our “Regulatory Compliance and Funds” service line and work as part of the team, to meet and exceed client expectations while growing both as a professional and as a person.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of applications to the Cyprus Registrar of Companies on behalf of clients and assistance in the formation of Cyprus registered companies.
  • Preparation and review of corporate documents (resolutions, minutes, company registries, instruments of transfers, share certificates, power of attorneys etc.), for Cyprus limited liability companies and Alternative Investment Funds.
  • Preparation and execution of bank account application forms when necessary and communication with all banks whether in Cyprus or abroad.
  • Updating of public registries and helping to meet clients’ reporting obligations.
  • Assistance with submissions to the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and the Central Bank of Cyprus with regards to regulated entities (Alternative Investment Funds, Cyprus Investment Firms etc).
  • Communication with service providers/agents of domestic and overseas companies (client-facing) and public authorities (obtainment of certificates, following up on applications etc).
  • Collection of documents and communication with the client and review of client “KYC” documentation ensuring compliance with Company policy and Anti-Money Laundering regulations, under guidelines of the Compliance Officer.
  • Management of portfolio of clients as well as assisting Partner/ Manager with other major client groups.
  • Communication with audit, taxation, and accounting departments in relation to the financial and taxation affairs of the companies administered.
  • Preparation, perusal and review and execution of payment orders.
  • Monitoring of the Credit Control function as well as debt collecting for managed portfolio of clients.
  • Ad Hoc duties falling within the nature of the role, as and when required.

Skills/ Requirements:

  • University Degree of any discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good working knowledge of AML legislation and its application in KYC reviews and transaction reviews
  • A positive can-do attitude, high degree of responsibility and take ownership of their assignments, clients, and careers.
  • Team player and flexible to work on various types of assignments both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language (written and verbal).
  • IT literate with sound knowledge and experience of MS Office.
