CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established, global CFD broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies, we are seeking to recruit a Web Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a varied role and be overseen by and mentored by a team of industry professionals with years of industry experience. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field who possess approximately 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role. You will need to possess knowledge and experience working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or jQuery.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receiving training on a custom CMS (Content Management System) and further developing its functionality based on requirements coming from the Marketing & Business Development Department.
• Responsible for creating the company’s websites using the custom CMS, landing pages and other online resources.
• To effectively meet deadlines without compromising on work quality.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in web development.
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or jQuery.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• High level of self-organisation, responsibility, desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent spoken and written Greek or English language skills.
