Career Opportunity
As a Corporate Banking Manager, you will be at the forefront of our corporate banking division, leading a team of skilled professionals and strategically managing a portfolio of corporate clients. Your primary focus will be to deepen existing client relationships, attract new corporate clients, and provide guidance on corporate banking solutions to meet their unique needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all banking needs. Understand clients' financial objectives and provide expert guidance on relevant banking products and services.
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand our corporate client base. Network within the industry, attend events, and leverage your existing connections to drive business growth.
Conduct thorough credit assessments of potential and existing corporate clients to evaluate creditworthiness. Recommend appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions for loans and other credit facilities.
Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to minimize risk exposure. Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Offer expert financial advice to corporate clients on strategic decisions, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial matters, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs.
Stay up-to-date with our comprehensive range of financial products and services. Cross-sell relevant solutions to clients, meeting their diverse banking requirements.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Utilize this knowledge to stay competitive and deliver innovative banking solutions.
Ensure client’s banking operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Uphold a strong commitment to ethical practices and integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
Proven experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a similar role within the banking industry.
Strong credit analysis skills and the ability to evaluate complex financial information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining fruitful client relationships.
Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success.
Sound knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management practices.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
