CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established international technology provider to the iGaming sector, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of accounting related tasks, including ensuring that all accounting records are correct and up-to-date, leading the month end process and the preparation of management accounts, as well as supervising and mentoring less experienced members of the finance team. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field and will need to be a full member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA). Our client is seeking applicants with approximately 3+ years of relevant professional experience who have worked in either the iGaming, Forex and/or Payments industries. Our client offers Hybrid working conditions to the successful candidate, as well as a highly competitive remuneration package.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all accounting records are correct and up-to-date.
• Leading the month end process and preparation of management accounts of various entities.
• Maintaining a good level of financial controls.
• Monitoring all reconciliations prepared by the team and ensuring they are performed on a timely basis.
• Supervising the rest of the team with day-to-day activities.
• Helping with managing of the statutory audit process.
• Assisting with regulatory submissions as may be required.
• Assisting with preparation of reports and information relevant for decision making.
• Assisting the Head of Finance with any other related tasks.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is desirable.
• Full member of the recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• Approximately 3+ years of proven accounting experience is essential.
• Previous experience working in either the iGaming, Forex and/or Payment’s industries is essential.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Have advanced MS Excel skills.
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English.
