CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Legal, Accounting and associated professional services, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients, in particular supporting them with the preparation and submission of VAT. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar field is desirable and holders of the LCCI Higher certification are encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking an applicant with approximately 2+ years of relevant experience who is fluent in both Greek & English. Hybrid working conditions, as well as excellent working hours are on offer for this position, either from 08:00am – 4:00pm or 08:30am to 4:30pm.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handling of accounting and bookkeeping on behalf of a portfolio of clients.
• Communication with clients.
• Performing debtors, creditors & bank reconciliations.
• Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES reports on behalf of clients.
• Liaising with auditors.
• Assistance with the preparation of Financial statements.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned.

Key Skills/Experience:

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
• Holders of the LCCI Higher Certification are encouraged to apply.
• 2+ years of previous experience in accounting and bookkeeping is essential.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of VAT accounting is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English.
• Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
