CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for creating a comprehensive project plan that defines project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, while identifying project stakeholders and establishing effective communication channels. An academic background relating to Information Technology, Business Administration or another relevant field is desirable, and you will need to possess a minimum of 2+ years or previous project management experience gained working in either the Forex or Fintech sectors. Any certifications from the Project Management Institute (CAPM, PMP) will be considered an advantage, but not essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create a comprehensive project plan that defines project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, while identifying project stakeholders and establishing effective communication channels.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and uncertainties.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and conduct regular risk assessments to minimize project disruptions.
• Supervise project execution, coordinate project activities, and ensure adherence to the project plan.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage dependencies within the project.
• Establish efficient communication channels with project stakeholders, including team members and other relevant parties.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide progress reports, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures for quality management to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Perform quality control activities, track defects, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Evaluate change requests, assess their impact on the project, and make informed decisions about their implementation.
• Conduct activities for project closure, including formalizing project documentation, capturing lessons learned, and conducting post-project evaluations.
• Actively seek opportunities for process improvement, identify valuable lessons learned from completed projects, and apply best practices to enhance future project management endeavours.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Business Administration/Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within the Forex and/or Fintech industry is essential.
• Any certifications from the Project Management Institute (CAPM, PMP) will be considered an advantage.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to strategically plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software to monitor progress, allocate resources, and analyze data.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, extract valuable insights, and make informed decisions based on data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements and shifting priorities.
