CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Investment, Legal, Tax & Consultancy Services to a wide range of clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Russian-Speaking Back-Office Specialist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As part of your role you will handle a variety of back-office duties, including daily EMIR reporting, the preparation of CySEC reports, as well as the processing and monitoring of Clients’ payments and reconciliations of their bank accounts. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field and possess proven experience within a similar role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Russian & English are essential as well as the CySEC Advanced Certification.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily EMIR reporting, analysis on applicability of new reporting obligations.
- Preparation of CySEC reports: Quarterly statistics, RBSF, AIFMD.
- Periodic calculation of own funds requirements.
- Close cooperation with auditor on annual ICF & MiFID audit.
- Provision of information on request of Risk and Compliance managers, including periodic Compliance review of the Back-office Department.
- Interaction with the banks on Clients’ account opening (bank accounts, brokerage accounts).
- Processing and monitoring Clients’ payments, reconciliation of Clients' bank accounts.
- Recording of investment transactions, daily reconciliation with brokers (limited function).
- Preparation of Clients’ reports on regular basis.
- Preparation of budgets, monitoring of its execution, variance analysis.
- NAVs, Management and Performance fee calculation supervision for AIFs under management.
- Close cooperation with IT team on ongoing automatisation of MIFIR / EMIR reporting.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field.
- Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.
- Proven experience within a relevant Back-Office role is essential.
- Fluency in both verbal and written Russian & English is a must.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
- Able to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
