CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies that provide services to the Forex & Payments industries, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Risk Analyst to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, the successful applicant will play a key role overseeing the risk management programme of the Company, including carrying out risk assessments, investigations, and mitigation strategies. An academic background relating to Business, Finance, Economics or another relevant field is desirable and you will need to possess approximately 2+ years of proven experience in risk management within the payments industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Helping to oversee the risk management programme of the Group, including risk assessments, investigations, and mitigation strategies.
- Implementing policies and procedures to manage risk and comply with relevant regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including fraud prevention, compliance, and legal, to identify and mitigate risks.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in risk management strategies.
- Leading the development of risk management reports and presentations for Senior Management.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An academic background relating to Business, Finance, Economics or another relevant field is desirable.
- 2+ years of experience in risk management within the payments industry is essential.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- A deep understanding of risk management principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful risk management strategies within the payments industry.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills.
