The Position:

Our client, one of the leading construction companies in Greece, that has undertaken and has executed more than 400 public and private projects, is looking to recruit a Construction Manager for one of their projects designed with international specifications in Nicosia, Cyprus, expected to be completed in no earlier than 2 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain the construction project in a safe, timely and sustainable manner

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors etc. to determine the specifications of the project

• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications

• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies

• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Skills/Qualifications/ Experience:

• Bachelor and or Master in Civil engineering or other related field.

• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage

• 5-10 years of proven experience in large construction projects in either Cyprus or abroad

• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

• Very good knowledge of Autocad and MS Office

• Fluent in English

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• A team player with leadership abilities

Location:

The position is at the construction site of the project in Nicosia.
