The team

A career in our Funds & EMI Services Department will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a financial services - focused team. We have a fully integrated into our global network team, with the latest strategic, operational and technical insights that can deliver expert opinions on the fiscal, legal and financial developments of our clients. Our team specialises in the provision of advisory services to Funds, EMIs and PIs guiding them through all the practical and regulatory requirements necessary to implement your solutions end to end.

Main responsibilities

We are sourcing for highly motivated individuals at all levels up to Manager level to join our fast growing PwC Funds & EMI Services Team.

The main responsibilities of the successful candidates include delivering a variety of advisory services to our clients in the Funds, Payment Institutions and Electronic-Money industries and to support and guide them through all the practical and regulatory requirements necessary to implement their solutions end to end.

The successful candidates will participate in the delivery of projects in the areas of licensing applications to Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and the Central Bank of Cyprus, regulatory compliance and advisory work.

What we are looking for

• University Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business or in a related field
• Up to 6 years of experience in the provision of professional services such as audit, tax, corporate finance, corporate law etc.
• Exposure with the Funds or EMI industry will be considered as an advantage.
• CySEC’s Advanced and/or AML Examination will be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to take responsibility and apply initiative, especially when working under tight deadlines.
• Proactive and highly motivated individuals who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
• Confident individuals who are able to communicate in a clear and effective manner, take responsibility and use initiative especially when working under tight deadlines.
• Very good teamwork and multitasking skills.
• Computer literate (MS Office, G-suite)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
