The International Standard on Quality Management 1 (ISQM1) team of Audit Quality and Risk Department of Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus is seeking to recruit dynamic and high calibre professional to join the team at the level of Manager, in our Nicosia or Limassol offices.

The Team

The Audit Quality and Risk department is handling matters pertaining to overview of various quality, risk and regulation projects; setting of policies across Deloitte Middle East and Risk Management for the entire Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region. This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.

The Role

The successful candidates’ key responsibilities include, among others:

• Project Management for ISQM1
• Demonstrate understanding of related regulatory and compliance standard
• Drive the operational management and reporting of the ISQM1 implementation, which involves coordination with multiple stakeholders and service area specialists across the business streams and monitoring of and reporting against key milestones
• Developing an ongoing centralised compliance function for ISQM1, including self-monitoring and testing programs
• Provide support post project implementation including training of new members, prepare and submit new change requests etc
• Actively participate in decision making with business process and response owners, and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
• Managing and updating the Quality Audit Platform on an ongoing basis
• Build and nurture positive working relationships, by providing high-quality deliverables and communications
• Coordination with regulators in respect to ISQM1 compliance for Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region
• Working with the audit leadership for Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus region

Requirements

• Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University in any field
• Partly or newly qualified CIA will be considered an advantage
• Project management experience is a pre-requisite
• Knowledge and understanding of ISQM1 desirable
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance framework
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve results
• Strong business and commercial awareness
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Legal and moral integrity
• Strong multitasking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
