CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded provider of Audit & Accounting services to a large portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accounting Supervisor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for providing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients, as well as mentoring, coaching and supervising less experienced members of the client accounting department. Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 5 years of previous experience in a relevant role and holders of any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients and accommodating their reporting and filings.
• Supervise, provide guidance and review work of other accountants of the firm.
• Preparation and filing of Tax, VAT and VIES declarations.
• Preparation of accounting books.
• Preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Direct communication with clients.

Key Skills/Experience:

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable.
• Any relevant accounting qualification/certification will be considered an advantage.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role is essential.
• Computer skills in MS office, including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Knowledge of accounting software including Cycom and/or Caseware will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek, both verbal and written.
• Ambitious, fast learner with good organizational skills.
