Sigma Bakeries Ltd, a fast-growing bakery/confectionery business in Limassol, is looking for an experienced individual for the position of Payroll Assistant.Job Description:As Payroll Assistant you will assist the Payroll Manager with:

Preparation of salary payroll of between 400 – 450 employees monthly.

Meeting tight monthly deadlines of all payroll and payroll tax obligations.

Meeting yearly payroll deadlines such as IR7, IR63 and IR59 etc.

Preparation and reconciliation - salary deductions (loans, salary advances, expense deductions etc) - monthly.

Reconciliation of payroll balance sheet and profit & loss accounts monthly.

Coordinating with the HR department on processing of new starters/leavers and payroll-related employee queries.

Preparation of various analytical spreadsheets including KPI’s for management on an ad hoc basis.

Assist in the implementation of new HR/Payroll software and systems.

Other responsibilities as defined by the Accounts Department and/or Payroll Manager.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 3 years of work experience in payroll preparation for 100+ employees within the Food & Beverage and/or Hospitality Industries.

Good command of English and Greek.

Excellent attention to detail.

Advanced skills in MS office packages (Excel, Word and Microsoft office).

Experience in payroll software packages. Experience with 3De POCKET payroll software (upgraded version of NOESIS) would be considered an advantage.

Ability to work under pressure independently.

Ability to communicate clearly and be a trustworthy team player.
