CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a regulated Investment Firm with operations across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Payments Operation Specialist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to the Head of Payments Operations, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for working closely with a variety of banks and online payments service providers, including assisting with the onboarding of new payment providers in global locations. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar who possess approximately 1 year of previous experience in a relevant position within Financial Services and/or Banking. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel is required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Working closely with a variety of banks and online payments service providers.
• Assist with the onboarding of multiple new payment service providers in different countries in accordance with the needs of the Group (form completion, documents collection and KYC requirements).
• Manage multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, complying with all Standard Operation Procedures.
• Perform competitors research for new PSPs.
• Create and maintain the internal database related to PSP information, KYC and KYB documents.
• Support the Head of Payments Operations in ad-hoc projects as required.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, Mathematics or any other relevant filed.
• 1+ years of experience in a Financial Services/Banking environment.
• Experience in Payments Operations, Banking administration, payments administration will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, including proficiency with Excel.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in verbal and written English.
