As a Senior Account Manager working for Primetel, your primary responsibility will be to drive new business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, and the ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
What will your job look like?
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on acquiring new clients, penetrating new markets, and expanding the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new leads and opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and attending industry events. Seek out opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Develop and nurture long-term strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and pain points.
- Present proposals and negotiate contracts to win new business.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the telecommunications sector.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track and analyze sales activities and data, and provide regular reports to management.
All you need is…
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in telecom or technology.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and key account management is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of the telecom industry, including knowledge of products, services, solutions, industry trends, and regulations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Strong sales acumen and persuasive communication skills are essential.
- Proven experience in prospecting, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Customer-centric mindset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Fluency in Greek and English
