We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Data Protection Officer to join our dynamic team at HF Markets.

Your role at HF Markets:

• Assist the DPO in ensuring the organization's compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR as applicable on a group level.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Organize and conduct data protection awareness and training programs for employees to ensure they understand their responsibilities concerning data privacy.
• Assist in preparing Data Privacy Impact Assessments and Legitimate Interest Assessments to assess and mitigate privacy risks.
• Support the handling of data subject requests, including access requests, deletion requests, and consent management.
• Collaborate in the management of data breach incidents, including investigation, reporting, and mitigation, in accordance with legal requirements.
• Assist in evaluating and monitoring third-party vendors and service providers, including contractual agreements, for compliance with data protection regulations.
• Contribute to maintaining an inventory of data processing activities and data flow mapping within the organization.
• Provide administration support to the Data Protection Officer as required.

What You Bring:

• BSc/BA in Data Protection, Information Security, Law, or a relevant field.
• 2+ years’ experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or a related field.
• A relevant advanced degree or certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, EXIN) would be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
• Ability to manage workload independently and autonomously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of integrity and ethical conduct.
• High degree of IT literacy, with strong experience of using Microsoft Office.
