Join our culinary team at Bar Souvenir, an eclectic and globally-inspired establishment where we celebrate diverse flavors from around the world. As we embark on our upcoming project, we're excited to bring together a fusion of international cuisines and creative culinary experiences, making this a unique opportunity for a skilled chef to play a key role in shaping and defining our culinary journey.

Position:Head Chef

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Strategic Menu Planning:
    • Develop and execute top-notch menus that reflect the excellence of the restaurant.
    • Collaborate with the bar team to create food and beverage pairings.
  2. Cost Management:
    • Supervise the cost throughout the supply chain.
    • Analyze and optimize production costs.
  3. Supplier Management:
    • Select, supervise, and review partnerships with suppliers.
    • Actively participate in negotiations and contract reviews.
  4. Waste Management:
    • Implement practices to reduce waste and ensure sustainable waste management.
  5. Processes and Training:
    • Guide and train staff in best practices.
    • Develop procedures to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
  6. Tastings and Events:
    • Conduct regular tastings for menu evolution.
    • Design and execute special menus for events and unique occasions.
  7. Monthly Menu Analysis and Evolution:
    • Evaluate menu performance and propose improvements.
    • Monitor market trends for menu evolution.
  8. Collaboration with the Bar Team:
    • Communicate and collaborate with the bar staff to create synergy between the kitchen and the bar.
  9. Quality Monitoring and Menu Execution:
    • Support high-quality standards for dishes and ensure consistency in their execution.
    • Actively monitor customer feedback and adjust the menu as necessary.
  10. Development of Innovative Dishes:
    • Participate in research efforts and stay updated on the latest trends in gastronomy.
    • Create innovative dishes to enhance the restaurant's reputation.
  11. Crisis Management and Challenge Handling:
    • Solve problems and address challenges arising in the kitchen.
    • Develop effective strategies for crisis management and unforeseen situations.

The Ideal Candidate should be creative, forward-thinking, and possess excellent leadership skills. They should demonstrate expertise in menu planning, cost management, and team development. Experience in high-quality restaurants will be considered an additional qualification
