CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join their growing team based in Paphos. The successful applicant will work as part of an established team of Accounting, Audit & Tax professionals tasked with providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including assisting with tax compliance work. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field and candidates working towards any accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply. Any previous experience in a tax focused role is highly desirable, although training will be provided. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communication with clients relating to their tax liabilities.
• Recording audit entries in the accounting software.
• Preparing documents and recording all accounting entries needed before the audit commences.
• Preparation of Payroll.
• Preparation of all Tax, VAT and Social Insurance Forms.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Candidates working towards any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply.
• Any previous experience in a tax related position is highly desirable, although training will be provided.
• Highly numeric with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluency in verbal and written Greek & English.
• Any experience working with Accounting software will be considered an advantage.
