CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services, we are seeking to recruit a number of Tax Trainees to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicants will work as part of an established team of tax professionals tasked with providing clients with a variety of tax-related services, including preparing tax computations and tax returns as well as liaising with the Tax Department. You will be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management or another relevant field and candidates working towards the ACA/ACCA qualification are encouraged to apply. Any previous experience in a tax focused role is highly desirable, although full training will be provided. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Preparing tax computations and tax returns.
• Handling clients’ tax matters with the Tax Department.
• Analyzing clients’ financial information.
• Advising clients about tax liabilities and other tax-related matters.
• Keeping-up-to date on tax regulations and legislations.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Applied Statistics/Risk Management or a related field with overall grade of 7.0 for Cyprus Universities, 2:1 for British Universities and 3.3 for American Universities.
• Trainee or Part-Qualified ACA or ACCA student.
• Any previous experience in Tax will be considered as an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent use, both oral and written, of Greek & English.
• IT literacy, including MS Office and ideally Caseware.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
