As a Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in identifying, analysing, and solving business problems and helping the organization to improve processes, systems, and strategies. Our client is seeking applicants who possess previous experience in a payments-focused role, with a specific emphasis on research and analysis. Strong analytical skills are essential for this role, including proficiency with data analytics tools and software.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, managers, and employees, to gain a deep understanding of their needs, goals, and challenges.
• Offer insights and recommendations for enhancing business strategies, enabling organizations to make well-informed decisions.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to unearth valuable insights, trends, and patterns that inform critical decision-making. Leverage data to assess and evaluate the current state of the business, providing essential support for proposed solutions.
• Develop and maintain process models and flowcharts that visualize and document existing business processes and proposed changes. Utilize these models to effectively identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Lead the effort to conduct comprehensive feasibility studies before the implementation of new projects or solutions. Assess the technical, financial, and operational viability of proposed changes, ensuring well informed decision-making.
• Play a crucial role in the design and evaluation of our software. Serve as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment and successful implementation.
• Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, encompassing business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and other documents vital for guiding development and implementation efforts.

Key Skills/Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a payments-focused role, with an emphasis on research and analysis.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and software.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• The capacity to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
