THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a Group of Companies which constitutes a leading automotive distributor in the Cypriot market, we seek to recruit a high calibre professional for the position of Marketing Executive, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead and execute marketing projects and activities of the Group, directly reporting to the Group Marketing Manager and working closely with the Sales and Operation team, as well as contributing to the overall success of the Group’s brand exposure and sales performance.

More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:

  • Manage and develop marketing campaigns and communication initiatives ensuring effective strategic brand performance and direction and successful in-store and external marketing activity and promotion
  • Develop and successfully implement marketing / brand activation plans of the Group
  • Identify, execute and continuously evaluate the Group’s marketing strategy based on the Group’s objectives, market characteristics as well as cost and markup factors
  • Develop and execute digital marketing communications initiatives and campaigns, aligned with in-store campaigns and activities
  • Define marketing project goals and effectively execute pre-determined objectives within the required time frame
  • Monitor and assess, on an on-going basis, the effectiveness of marketing projects as well as brand performance in order to propose corrective actions if needed
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of local markets, consumers and the business environment in which the brands compete, to better understand and analyse consumer behaviour
  • Create and analyse campaign performance reports and optimise strategies aiming to achieve maximum impact
  • Actively collaborate with the Sales team to support showroom marketing activities and campaigns
  • Develop, establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in an effort to establish strategic long-term relationships
  • Liaise and closely collaborate with the International team to ensure alignment with international brand guidelines and campaign execution processes
  • Organise (i.e. venues, briefs, printing material, audio visual equipment, logistics, etc.) and coordinate promotional events
  • Ensure that marketing / campaign budget is controlled with appropriate spending to ensure cost- effectiveness
  • Support the department on day-to-day activities and ad-hoc tasks, as deemed necessary

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing and Communications or in any other related field
  • Master’s degree in a related field will be considered as an advantage
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a similar role with product marketing experience
  • Good understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead marketing and cross departmental projects
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and business orientation
  • Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Creative and analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong numerical and forecasting skills
  • Excellent computer literacy including the ability to produce reports
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
