CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ largest and most highly regarded Telecommunications providers, we are seeking to recruit an Information Security Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the successful applicant will work as part of a growing team tasked with supporting a range of information security programs and projects. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or another related field who possess approximately 3 years of previous professional experience in a relevant role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage the Vulnerability Assessment Program.
• Manage the Information Security Awareness Program.
• Assist in the development and compliance of Information Security Policies and Procedures.
• Assist in the design and implementation of Information Security related projects.
• Assists in Monitoring of Security Breaches.
• Participate in Information Security Related, Internal and External Audits.
• Participate in the Investigation of Information Security Incidents.
• Prepare Progress Reports for ongoing projects.

Key Skills/Experience:

• BSc or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or another related field.
• Any industry security certifications will be considered as an advantage, but not essential.
• 3+ years’ work experience in some of the following areas:

• Unix/Linux, Windows systems and Databases
• Firewalls/IDS/IPS Systems
• Anti-virus software
• Web Services
• Web Application and Database Security
• Web Proxies
• Email and DNS security
• Encryption and PKI solutions
• Data Loss Prevention
• System Logging and SIEM tools
• Vulnerability Management Systems
• Information Security Frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST etc.)
• Cloud Services (MS 365, Intune, Azure, security solutions)
• Structural Reporting and organization skills.

• Fluent in written and spoken Greek and English language.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to present to a wide audience as needed.
