CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Financial Technology solutions and services to the iGaming industry, we are seeking to recruit a Fraud Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will need to possess knowledge and experience of working with the SEON fraud detection and prevention system or similar, playing a critical role to help ensure the integrity and security of iGaming operations.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the SEON system and other fraud detection tools to monitor transactions, player activities, and accounts for suspicious behavior.
  • Analyze transactional data to identify irregular patterns and potential fraud indicators.
  • Investigate and review suspicious accounts, transactions, and activities to determine the validity of claims.
  • Develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies, including rule sets, thresholds, and alerts, within the SEON system.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to improve fraud prevention systems and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest fraud trends and techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging fraud trends to enhance fraud prevention efforts.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of fraudulent activities on the company.
  • Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies and policy enhancements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on fraud detection, investigation findings, and prevention efforts.
  • Document fraud cases, including evidence and outcomes, for legal and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with customer support, compliance, and legal teams to resolve fraud-related issues and take appropriate actions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on fraud prevention strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and other relevant departments on fraud detection and prevention best practices.
  • Promote a culture of fraud awareness within the organization.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a fraud specialist in the iGaming industry is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the SEON system or similar fraud prevention tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to fraud prevention in the iGaming sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
