CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Financial Technology solutions and services to the iGaming industry, we are seeking to recruit a Payments Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth and secure payment processing, managing payment related inquiries, as well as optimizing payment systems and processes to enhance player experience. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience in a relevant role within the iGaming industry, with strong knowledge of payment methods, gateways, and financial regulations within the industry.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end payment processing cycle, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
• Monitor payment channels and systems to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies.
• Utilize your expertise in the Payment IQ system to maximize its functionality and efficiency.
• Configure and maintain Payment IQ settings, rules, and configurations to optimize payment operations.
• Stay updated on the latest features and updates within the Payment IQ system and implement relevant improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payment regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments related to payment operations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to address payment-related compliance matters.
• Manage relationships with payment providers, banks, and financial institutions.
• Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for payment processing services.
• Evaluate and onboard new payment providers to diversify payment options and improve player convenience.
• Generate regular reports on payment performance, transaction trends, and financial metrics.
• Analyze payment data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Respond to player inquiries related to payments, refunds, and transaction status.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing payment-related concerns promptly and professionally.
• Continuously review and optimize payment processes to streamline operations and reduce errors.
• Implement automation and efficiency improvements where possible.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a payment specialist in the iGaming industry.
• Proficiency in the Payment IQ system or similar payment processing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of payment methods, gateways, and financial regulations in the iGaming sector.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with risk management and compliance practices related to payments.
