Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various contracts in relation to igaming including game development agreements, licence agreements, white label agreements, service level agreements, agreements with operators, aggregators and resellers etc.
• Monitor legal risk in documentation and transactions and giving guidance on regulatory requirements within the igaming industry.
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related services.
• Reviewing and interpreting governmental and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with gaming offices/registries and ensuring the maintenance and protection of the Company’s and its group’s gaming licences.
• Handling or supporting overseas license processes with local law firms.
• Reviewing, managing and processing documentation and handling internal and external due diligence requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with online gaming regulations and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with the Chief Legal Officer in reviewing and creating important legal documents, in relation to igaming but also other corporate, commercial and employment matters.
• Liaise with the Chief Legal Officer in drafting new contracts or agreements for the Company.
• Support the legal team on any other matters arising to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
• Support in the general internal corporate and compliance needs of the Company.
• Creating and administering compliance policies, documents and guidelines.
• Conducting periodic reviews of portfolio of domains and other assets to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Assisting on specific projects as may be required on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials.
• A current licence to practice in one or more jurisdictions.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ practice experience at a well-regarded law firm, or in-house experience in the igaming sector
• Experience in structuring and leading negotiation of igaming transactions.
• Deep knowledge of online gaming regulations and compliance requirements (with preference MGA, Curacao, Uk etc).
• Deep knowledge and understanding on gaming development and distribution contracts.
• A team player with the ability to proactively identify problems, drive projects, make complex cost/benefit assessments, and identify pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility on tasks.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively and to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• A quick and flexible learner, intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity and risk, and excited by dynamic change.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly learn the confidence of your colleagues and effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
• High standards, impeccable integrity and ethics, unquestionable good judgment, well-honed analytical skills, superior oral and written communications skills.
• Experience in different jurisdictions will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in other areas of law such as corporate, commercial and employment will be considered an advantage.
