The Company:
The company is one of our clients, a top-rated professional services firm, offering Fiduciary, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services.
The Position:
We are actively looking to hire, on their behalf, a Qualified Accountant for the position of Client Relationship Assistant Manager for its offices in Nicosia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaises with the Clients and all departments of the Firm and / or external associates and ensures the prompt response to all enquiries at the required quality and standard.
Ensures via the cooperation of the Firm’s specialized departments and his/her own team the good standing of companies, under management, including:
Accounting, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, Payroll Compliance etc
Audit and Tax Compliance
Banking relationships and Compliance
Filings with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies and / or other Registries and payment of the applicable Governmental Levies
Corporate and AML Compliance
Client liaising and communication, attending to meetings in Cyprus and / or overseas
Supports his/her Director with the client development, client onboarding procedures, AML Annual Reviews, transaction monitoring and other pertinent matters.
Review of the monthly payroll reports, Quarterly VAT Reports and monthly VIES Declarations
Review of Accounting Records and Reports
Preparation of Management Accounts and / or other Reports depending on client needs/requirements
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements (in line with IFRS)
Preparation of provisional corporation income tax computations
Assignment of specialized work/responsibilities and / or internal projects
Other management duties depending on the needs of the Firm
Other Internal Administration duties
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA).
Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree.
2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
Excellent command of the English and Greek language.
Good level of proficiency with MS Office applications including Power Point.
Ambitious, capable, professionally qualified individual with Tax Compliance and Accounting experience gained within a medium or large accounting firm.
Strong technical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent levels of client service.
Team player who can work on own initiatives.
The ability to work under pressure adhering to tight deadlines.
Adaptable to change.
A pro-active approach.
Professional attitude and appropriate work-ethic.
Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Location: The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate based to qualifications and experience.
