The Nines, a new five-star hotel, will very soon open its doors at the vibrant and cosmopolitan Agia Napa. With the casual luxury approach, we aim to offer all our guests an exceptional and memorable experience in a relaxed but indulgent atmosphere.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Officer who will report to the Finance Director. Do you enjoy being at the forefront of purchasing and procurement ensuring the smooth acquisition of services and supplies? Below are the main responsibilities of this position:

Effectively implement all policies and procedures related to the purchasing function

In collaboration with the departmental Managers, set the pre-order levels of each product and ensure that the minimum stock quantities always exist

Conduct market research to identify new vendors and suppliers as well as new products and services related to the hotel industry

Establish and maintain exceptional professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
-
Negotiate favorable terms, conditions and pricing for all products and services and ensure that all vendors and suppliers comply with them

Ensure that the selected products and services are based on best quality and right price
-
Prepare financial analysis and reporting related to the purchasing and procurement activities and when needed suggest amendments to increase profitability

Perform audits and inspections to ensure that all products are properly maintained and confirm the quantities in collaboration with the Stock Keeper

Assist in the development of the departmental budgets and ensure that the purchasing function operate within the approved budgets
The ideal professional shall have the following qualifications, experiences, and skills:

Diploma or University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or any other related field

Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a similar role (experience in the hotel industry will be an advantage)

Excellent knowledge of Greek & English languages

Computer Literate

Ability to create trustworthy relationships

Strong problem-solving capabilities

Excellent planning and organization skills

Guest-oriented mindset

Attention to detail

Pleasant and integer personality

Flexibility and adaptability
