Company description
On behalf of our client, an elegant opulent luxury hotel, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber and experienced candidate for the position of Spa Manager, to be based at our client's premises in Paphos.

Job Duties
Reporting to the Hotel’s General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overseeing the day-to-day Spa operations, the smooth running of the SPA & Fitness Club Department on a day-to day basis to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction. Specifically, the successful candidate will be:

  • Increases sales of the memberships, products and treatments.
  • Ensures all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow-up is completed on a timely basis, being proactive and not reactive towards guests’ expectations.
  • Maintains acceptable staffing levels in line with the hotel’s occupancy.
  • Prepares and implements a promotional plan that shall maintain and increase SPA & Health club memberships and for in-house product sales.
  • Is responsible for the ordering and maintaining of stock levels for all the Spa products.
  • Supervises Personnel to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service following the hotel’s guidelines and the Standard Operating Procedures of the department.
  • Leads by example and inspires the pride and the winning spirit to all team members.
  • Conducts at least once a month a departmental meeting to discuss operational, financial, and other issues to keep the team updated and at the same time receive their feedback, challenges, and suggestions.

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality/Leisure Management or related field
  • Proven experience as Spa Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages. Any other languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
