Company description
On behalf of our client, an elegant opulent luxury hotel, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber and experienced candidate for the position of Assistant F&B Manager, to be based at our client's premises in Paphos.
Job Duties
Reporting to the F&B Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of all the F&B outlets as well as the daily duties of all the F&B employees. Specifically, the successful candidate will:
- Cooperate with the F&B Manager to manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
- Assist the F&B Manager by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented employees.
- In cooperation with the F&B Manager to provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
- Maintain consistency in service by anticipating and preparing for all scheduled events, large parties, and reservations that may impact food and beverage service operations.
- Provide a high level of service to all guests and to deal with complaints and comments in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with all the services provided to them.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers and vendors.
- Train employees to proper use of equipment.
- Report to F&B Manager regarding sales results and productivity
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- A University Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Hotel/Hospitality/Leisure Management or related field
- Proven experience of 5 years work experience in the hospitality industry with an emphasis on food and beverage
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages. Any other languages will be considered as an advantage
- Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
