CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including the provision of Cyber Security & Data Analytics solutions to global clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will play a key role securing vital resources and optimizing the supply chain to support our client’s mission of delivering top-notch security solutions. You will need to possess in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends, analyze data, and make informed procurement decisions. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management, to ensure timely acquisition of online services.
- Investigate and evaluate vendor performance to optimize costs and quality.
- Contribute to procurement strategy development, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing efficient procurement practices.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, maintain accurate records, and generate reports for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic guidance on procurement processes.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends, analyze data, and make informed procurement decisions.
- Understanding of cryptocurrency markets, with the ability to assess their potential impact on procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of Linux and Virtualization will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and collaborate across teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Availability to provide support on the weekends as required.
