The Role:

This is a great career opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join one of our affiliated Companies in Limassol. The Risk Analyst will work closely with the Risk Manager to assist with the quantitative and qualitative risk analysis of the Company.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Measure the exposures of various market, credit, liquidity, operational, and other key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor compliance with the company’s risk appetite and limits.
• Prepare daily, monthly, periodic, and ad-hoc internal and external risk management reports and presentations, as required.
• Collect, analyse, and evaluate large amounts of data as part of performing quantitative risk analysis, stress tests, and scenario testing.
• Develop tools for automating and analysing various risk indicators and maintain the risk management database.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the company’s risk framework, including processes, systems, and reporting.
• Draft, maintain, and update the company’s risk management policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the ongoing monitoring of the company’s compliance with the applicable regulatory framework and the submission of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other functions to support the identification and management of risks.

Main requirements:

• Degree in Risk Management, Mathematics, Data Analysis, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CFA/FRM or any other risk management qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in a risk management, quantitative analysis, quantitative trading or any other related field in asset management, banking, and financial services or the fintech industry.
• Working knowledge of relational database concepts such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as R or Python will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
