CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Payment Solutions Provider with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an Account Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an Account Manager, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the entire client journey, from onboarding to retention and loyalty, ensuring a high-quality customer experience that aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 3+ years of previous experience in a relevant role, ideally gained working for either a Payment Service Provider (PSP), Electronic Money Institution (EMI) or within the Banking/Corporate Services sector. You will need to be fluent in verbal and written English and possess excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. A highly attractive remuneration package is available for this position.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of the financial markets and merchant payment processing.
  • Ensuring excellent customer experience in all processes from onboarding to operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, and support teams to ensure a cohesive client experience and address client needs effectively.
  • Provide Clients with the updates on the services provided by the company (changes in the existing payment channels or rates, new payment channels and services).
  • Provide training and guides to the clients (product training, updates in the company services and tools).
  • Monitor and report on client lifecycle metrics, providing insights and recommendations to Senior Management.  
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • 3+ years experience in Account Management or another relevant position is required.
  • Experience in customer support, ideally, but not limited to the Payments, Banking or Corporate Services sectors.  
  • Customer service-oriented, professional, and resourceful.
  • Proven ability to tactfully handle customer inquiries and negotiations.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Ability to work independently, and possess strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Able to work freely in Cyprus (EU Status).
