CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established Digital Platform that empowers individuals to explore, create, and collect digital assets, we are seeking to recruit a QA Engineer to join their fully remote workforce. Collaborating closely with the QA Manager, Product, and Development teams, you'll execute test plans, identify bugs, and perform load and performance testing to uphold our client’s high-quality standards. With your proactive and detail-oriented approach, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and driving continuous improvement. Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 3+ years of QA testing software experience, with a focus on web platforms along with strong technical understanding of web technologies and browsers. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships are a must. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the QA manager, Product, and Development teams to plan and execute testing for new features and releases.
• Conduct hands-on testing of our web platform across desktop and mobile devices.
• Review and validate features versus requirement specifications and design documents.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and document bugs thoroughly.
• Perform regression testing and conduct load and performance testing to ensure scalability.
• Perform quality checks on finished features related to our website and internal platforms/tools.
• Provide detailed feedback to the QA manager and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• At least 3+ years of QA testing software experience, with a focus on web platforms.
• Strong technical understanding of web technologies and browsers.
• Proficiency in manual testing, database validation, and log monitoring.
• Experience with load and performance testing and setting up test environments.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and well-defined bug reports.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
