CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-known and highly regarded Law Firms with expanding operations in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for handling a range of bookkeeping and accounting duties on behalf of a diverse portfolio of international clients, including the preparation of payroll and social insurance forms. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field, and/or hold the LCCI Higher certification. Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 3+ years of experience in a relevant role. Strong Tax and VAT experience, as well as previous experience working with accounting software is essential. Fluency in both Greek & English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Bookkeeping and accounting for a large portfolio of international clients.
• Handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Preparation of payroll and social insurance forms.
• TAX & VAT & VIES registration and submission, filling etc…
• Creating periodic reports (such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc).
• Reporting to Partner & Head of Corporate Accounting.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another closely related field is desirable.
• Holders of any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping role is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of working with accounting software is a must.
• Strong Tax and VAT experience.
• Fluency in verbal and written Greek & English.
• Time management & reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a Team.
• Strong communication skills.
