CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established Financial Services Group offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies, we are seeking to recruit a Web Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful candidate will receive training on a custom CMS (Content Management System) and further develop its functionality based on requirements coming from the Marketing Department. You will also be responsible for creating and updating the company’s websites using the custom CMS, landing pages and other online resources. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Web Development, Computer Science, or other related fields, who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in website development. You will need to be familiar with cross-browser compatibility issues, with up-to-date knowledge with international web protocols, standards, and technologies. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Receiving training on a custom CMS (Content Management System) and further developing its functionality based on requirements coming from the Marketing Department.
• Responsible for creating the company’s websites using the custom CMS, landing pages and other online resources.
• To effectively meet deadlines without compromising on the quality of work produced.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University/College graduate in Web Development, Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience with website development.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or jQuery.
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• High level of self-organisation, responsibility, desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent spoken and written Greek or English language skills.
