Kition Ocean Port is seeking to recruit a Port / Shift Supervisor who will be responsible for various aspects within the port teams. He / She will be monitoring warehouses and open spaces, ensuring all necessary documentation are submitted to the invoicing department accurately, while preparing shift plans for employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the team members of Gate Controller, Yard Controller, Weighing Bridge, General Worker
• Monitor of the rental of warehouses, open spaces. Necessary documentation to be submitted to the Invoicing Department
• Verify all info provided by Operations Department in regards with charges per vessel and release the available info to the Invoicing Department
• Coordinate with Operations Manager for KPI/Reports
• Prepare shift plan for employees and review it with Operations Manager
• Check/Report malfunctions in warehouses - open spaces - yards
• Report only infrastructure needs that are related to Logistics Department
• Oversee the activities of staff members to ensure that all tasks are performed properly and efficiently
• Manage employees' performance through regular appraisals and feedback to help employees improve their skills
• Train staff on proper procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Liaise with Port Operations Manager for assisting with supervision when needed
• Any other tasks as specified by the Port General Manager related to professional capacity

Qualifications

• University Degree in Business Management or other relevant degree
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Port Industry
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Computer literate (MS Office application)
