Thanos Hotels & Resorts are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Night Receptionist for Almyra Hotel.
Job Role
Responsible for providing a smooth, accurate and efficient check-in/check-out service, reservation, message and general enquiry services at the Front Desk ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, whilst adhering to the required Hotel’s standards.
Duties & Responsibilities

To assist and check-in guests as per existing Front Office policies and procedures.

Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.

Ensures that all Guests receive a courteous and warmly service upon check-in and check-out.

Ensures that Guest data are correctly entered into the system.

Adhere to Hotel’s standards, policies and procedures and to have a complete understanding of the policies; including Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.

Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law.

Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Produces and handover guest keys.

Notifies the porter for transferring guests’ luggage to their assigned rooms.

Accompanies guests to their rooms.

Notes down any special requests that guests may have and pass these onto the relevant department.

Handles Complaints with immediate action and through proper follow up.

Performs check out efficiently based on the Hotel’s procedures.

Ensures Proper Shift Hand Over.

Ensures Housekeeping reports are accurate.
-
Acts as a Salesperson in order to maximize the Rooms revenue.

Knows how to settle guests’ accounts either by cash or credit card.

Informs guests of hotel and general information regarding restaurants etc.

Offers wake up services, order taxi transfers when necessary.

Takes and passes on messages to guests.

Operates the telephone call center.

Receives and speaks to guests or visitors and putting them into contact with the relevant departmental officials

Sending of fax messages

Sending of any necessary hotel documentation

Handling of any outgoing mail
Requirements
-
At least 3 years’ experience in same or similar position
-
Excellent knowledge of Greek & English Language
-
Knowledge of any other language will be considered an advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passionate in delivering exceptional levels of guest service

To be able to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure

Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the right to work in Cyprus
