CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected premier partner and reseller of distinguished information technology services and solutions to a wide range of clients, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Working closely with Senior Management, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies to expand the Company's presence in the market. Our client is seeking candidates with proven Sales and Business Development experience within the Information Technology sector here in Cyprus, who possess a demonstrable track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated revenue targets. You will need to be fluent in both Greek and English, have a passion for technology, with the ability to develop long-lasting relationships with key decision makers. A highly attractive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate, which includes a generous basic salary, plus a competitive, achievable commission structure.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand clients' business objectives and IT needs to propose relevant solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on IT strategies.
- Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable agreements.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to Senior Management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and promote the company's IT services.
- Represent the company as a knowledgeable and authoritative figure in the IT industry.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
- Holders of an MBA are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, and/or Account Management in the IT industry.
- Deep understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
