CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global provider of Employment Solutions including Payroll, Benefits & Immigration services, we are seeking to recruit a Social Media Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, aligned with the overall company marketing strategy, to enhance global brand presence, engage international target audiences, and drive business growth. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media channels, and analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other related fields, who possess approximately 2 years of previous experience in a relevant role, ideally gained working in a B2B environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, as well as a strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to achieve marketing objectives and enhance brand awareness.
- Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels and industry platforms, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and responding to inquiries.
- Responsible for curating, strategising, and safeguarding the management’s private social media presence to uphold their personal brand, thought leadership and enhance professional engagement.
- Responsible for scheduling the monthly content calendar and posting content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate ideas and content for social media campaigns, website (incl. proofreading and copywriting), promotions, and events.
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Analysing social media metrics and creating reports.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies to maximize impact and efficiency.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven 2-3 years’ experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Experience in the international recruitment and payroll industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to different audiences.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is essential.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a real interest in world affairs.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia content creation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and preparing regular reports.
