We are looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and high caliber professional to join our Tax & Insolvency team for the position of Assistant Manager

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing tax compliance work for a wide portfolio of clients (tax computations, assessment of areas of tax risks, preparation of tax position schedules)
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies
- Identify and present direct tax opportunities and risks according to tax legislation, common practice, and double tax treaties
- Dealing with tax enquiries and investigations
- Represent clients in tax examinations and be actively involved in the closing of tax affairs during liquidations, strike offs and reorganizations
- Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of Transfer Pricing studies for clients, in compliance with Law and Regulations and relevant OECD Guidelines
- Preparation of tax ruling requests
- Preparation of DAC-6 reports
ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Holder of a degree from a reputable University with a background in law, taxation, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Qualified or studying towards his/her qualification (ACA or ACCA)
- More than two years of relevant experience in an audit firm, tax practice or related consultancy/advisory firm.
- Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification would be considered an advantage
- VAT knowledge will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Tax Law
- Knowledge of EU tax directives and international tax developments
- Experience in TP studies and DAC-6
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language both written and oral
- IT literate
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
