CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding company involved in the manufacturing and distribution of raw materials, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics & Warehouse Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As the Logistics & Warehouse Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistics management. You will research potential vendors, comparing and evaluating offers, as well as negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Logistics, Business Administration, or another related field who possess proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices is essential, and hands-on experience with accounting software will be considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience including 13th Salary.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Research potential vendors, comparing and evaluating offers.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
  • Quality Control – Review orders before they are shipped out.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role preferred.
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP B1) will be considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Enthusiastic and cooperative nature.
